What can I say about the Elekon Batlogger C?
If you're looking for a static full spectrum recorder to leave out on site, the Elekon Batlogger C, the Titley Ranger, the Pettersson D500X and the Wildlife Acoustics SM4BAT are the ones to consider.
All units record bat calls very efficiently, but the main consideration is going to be deployment times. The Batlogger C can last for 5 nights with the single included battery or 10 nights with the optional additional battery. The D500X can last for 14 nights. The SM4BAT FS and Ranger can last for 30+ nights.
My preference is the SM4BAT FS or Titley Ranger with their unprecedented deployment times and ease of use, though the Batlogger C's SMS text alert function is pretty cool.

The BATLOGGER C is optimized for low power consumption at many points. A built-in, non-contact magnetic switch detects the closed upper shell and turn off all unnecessary consumers. The settings of the GPS system and the GSM module can also be optimized through presets of the systems.
