Unitura Integrated Insect Brick ISP1

This basic insect brick has been specially designed as a shelter and nesting provision for solitary wild bees and other insects. The brick can be easily incorporated into masonry.
 
Within this product line, similar products are also available for other target species, such as the GZP2 (swift), HMP2 (house sparrow), SPP1 (starling), VLP1 (butterfly) and HOP1 (semi-cave nesters).

Suitable for
This insect brick has been specifically designed as a shelter and nesting provision for solitary insects. Wild bees, bumblebees, butterflies and a wide range of other insects, such as spiders, ladybirds and earwigs, may use the insect brick.
Design
The insect brick is made entirely from highly durable woodcrete. Because the brick is based on a standard Dutch brick format, it can be easily incorporated into masonry. The insect brick is supplied in a standard concrete-grey colour.
Installation tips
Install the insect brick in a sunny position, close to flowering planting. Use an installation height of at least 50 cm and up to a maximum of 2 m above ground level. This will help insects discover the brick more quickly.
