Woodstone House Martin Nest 90069
Description
This artificial nest (with a right entrance) is suitable for the House Martin. The nest box is made from Woodstone® a concrete and wood fibre mix. WoodStone® nest boxes safeguard against attacks from predators including woodpeckers, cats and squirrels.
Siting
Hang the artificial nests for the house martin on the façade of the house or barn, directly under the roof gutter or the overhang. Preferably on the east or northeast side, preferably with several nests together as House Martins are colonial nesters. No nesting material needs to be added. The artificial nests are supplied with mounting material, two plugs and screws.
Maintenance
The house martin nests will need to be cleaned and inspected once a year from October. The suspension will need to be checked, as well as the condition of the entire artificial nest.
