If you're looking for a static recorder to record bats while you sit at home drinking tea (other beverages are available), this could be a good option for you.

With up to 100 hours recording time and setup via an app, the Batlogger S2 uses the location from your phone to decide where it's located and stores this information on the recordings.

User Guide

This is Elekon's smallest detector and it's very simple and easy to use.

Recording up to 100 hours on one charge, it produces 16-bit full spectrum recordings of bat calls between 10 - 150kHz at a sample rate of 312.5kHz.

It has an adjustable trigger function and scheduler, all controlled via an app, and records to an internal microSD card which is user-replaceable (32GB included).

Recording the location (set from app) and temperature and with a weight of just 138g with its internal battery, this is a great little unit.

Charging is via USB-C cable (included), from a battery pack or computer, and downloading is as simple as plugging in a USB drive.

If you need to replace the microphone, it's easily done and the microphones are much more affordable than most.

It's tiny! At only 132 x 72 x 35 mm it's one of the smallest available static bat detectors.
